Two slender tail booms made of aluminum alloy pipes with a double composite vertical tail (fins and rudders) are led out of the fuselage. On them, in turn, is mounted a composite horizontal stabilizer with a symmetrical profile, equipped with winglets. An aluminum mast is attached to the fuselage structure, on which the steering head with the main rotor is mounted.
0.4. Flight control Flight control is carried out using the control stick and pedals. These controls are doubled and accessible to both crew members. The joystick movements are transmitted through a rigid kinematic system to the rotor head. The movements of the pedals are transmitted to the rudders via flexible bowden cables. Moving the joystick forwards tilts the rotor head forward, and moving the joystick back tilts the rotor head back. The vertical position of the stick corresponds to a 7º rearward inclination of the rotor head axis and is typical for level flight. Full forward movement of the rod (in practice impossible in flight) causes the rotor head disk to rest against a fixed friction element (bent from stainless steel sheet) and the rotor to brake. Moving the stick sideways (left or right) tilts the head sideways (left or right, respectively). Controlling the rudder pedals is the same as in airplanes. Pressing right causes a right turn, pressing left - turns left. The gyrocopter is equipped as standard with a mechanical spring balancing device (trimmer) acting on the rotor head tilt control system. It is regulated by a cord placed on the central console. There is a relief flap on the rudder, the purpose of which is to facilitate the flight straight ahead without the need for the pilot to use the pedals. It is factory-installed after the test flight phase. If necessary, you can correct the position of the flap by gently bending or bending it The position of the remote control is free and it can be on the left or right side.
